Money cannot buy happiness

Money can't buy happiness. We see this in the Great Gatsby. Gatsby meets a girl and leaves her. Gatsby is not really happy after this. So Gatsby gets a bunch of money and builds a mansion and a big estate to try and make him happy. But all that only cures his lonelyness that he fells from not having a woman. When Gatsby sees Daisy he is happy again. She is happy to see him. She doesn't even know he has money and she is happy. They are happy when they are with each other. So this shows that money can't buy happiness.
